This fascinating round 8 note Rattlesnake Xylophone musical instrument can be played with the beater provided or by spinning it in a circular motion allowing the marble to hit each note, doing this will recreate an unusual sound effect that is similar to the ones found in Nintendos Super Mario Bros. We are going to be recording this sound to use in our YouTube videos. We would recommend this type of hand held musical instrument for anyone who likes to experiment with sounds that are satisfying. Please note the xylophone without the handle was made by Rattlesnake percussion but the one with the handle was not.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you play the Rattlesnake Xylophone?
There are two main ways to play. To play it with the marble, drop the marble inside the instrument and gently rotate it using a circular hand motion. The marble strikes the wooden keys as it spins, creating a unique cascading sound, often compared to retro video game effects like Pac-Man or Sonic. To play it with the beater: Use the included beater to strike each of the seven notes individually, just like a traditional xylophone. This opens up possibilities for rhythm and melody in musical compositions.
What can the Rattlesnake Xylophone be used for?
This instrument is great for live performances, music production, game and film sound design, and educational play. Its quirky and nostalgic sound also makes it ideal for content creators looking to add a fun sound effect.
Is the Rattlesnake Xylophone suitable for children?
Yes, but only under adult supervision. It includes a small marble which can be a choking hazard, and like all wooden instruments, it should be checked regularly for splinters. The correct care ensures safe and long-lasting use.
