The Buddhist Ghanta Bell is a traditional ritual instrument made from solid brass metal and comes complete with a Vajra, also known as a Dorje in Tibet. The Dorje, meaning thunderbolt and diamond, symbolises indestructibility and force, and is used as the striker for the Ghanta bell, which represents wisdom and purpose in Buddhism. Commonly used in Buddhist rituals, it is played during meditation and mantra practice to support focus, body–mind connection, and the creation of positive energy, with the sound believed to attract beneficial spirits and dispel negative ones. Bells have also been used throughout history for religious ceremonies and public announcements. Featuring attractive decorative metalwork, this traditional Indian Ghanta bell produces a beautiful tone and comes complete with a vajra dorje.
