Carved Culture joined the YouTube Partner Programme, marking an important new stage in our journey from filming simple musical instrument demonstrations to creating more ambitious music education videos.
Our YouTube channel began as a way to help customers see and hear the instruments we sold. Becoming eligible to earn revenue from those videos gave us a new reason to explore what the channel could become.
Our First Earnings

These first earnings demonstrated that our videos could help support their own production. Rather than treating the money as a separate profit stream, we reinvested most of it into the business and our videos. Over time, we upgraded our camera equipment, lighting and audio quality to make the content more useful and enjoyable to watch.
Experimenting With More Videos
Joining the Partner Programme changed how seriously we approached video production. We began experimenting with publishing more videos, improving their quality and learning which types of music education content connected with viewers. Not every experiment worked, but each one taught us something. The ability to earn from our educational videos encouraged us to keep refining the process and investing in better production.
Building Something Sustainable
For Carved Culture, the milestone was about more than earning advertising revenue. It showed us that educational content could become a lasting part of the business, helping musicians while creating resources to make the next video better.
